Coastal study: dusk exterior of a stacked off-form concrete and spotted gum home on a rocky headland, sandstone pavers leading to the entry and an infinity pool merging with the Pacific

3D exterior rendering

The image most jobs start with.

Facades, streetscapes, aerials and dusk heroes from your model or renders. Days, not weeks.

The work

Where an exterior render earns its keep

Most jobs start outside: the facade in the quote, the streetscape for the neighbours, the dusk hero on the hoarding. All of it comes from the model or renders you already have.

01

The quote hero

A builder quoting a knockdown rebuild or custom home against two competitors. The quote with the finished facade in it is the one the client can picture signing.

02

The facade range

Volume builders run on facade options. One rendered range, one grade across every scheme and colourway, beats photography from an estate three releases old.

03

The streetscape

Townhouse rows and two-on-a-block. How the whole development sits on the street, for the agent, the neighbours and the bank.

04

The aerial

The whole site in one frame: siting, staging and outlook for estates and multi-dwelling projects. Priced into the set like any other frame.

The mapping

From your geometry, exactly

Every frame starts as your file. The camera is locked before either plate is rendered, so the CAD form and the finished image line up to the pixel, and the same geometry holds from every angle.

Banksia House as a white clay massing render: same camera, no materials, geometry only

The CAD form

Where your file is today: massing, apertures, siting.

The same camera rendered and graded: Banksia House in daylight, materials and landscape complete

The finished frame

The same camera, rendered. Zero drift between the two.

Rear

The hard stuff

The fly-through.

One good frame is easy now. A building that survives a moving camera without drifting is the hard part, and it is the part we built the tooling for. Scroll to fly.

Banksia House study, rear at dusk: the living pavilion open to a lit pool under a timber-lined eave, the camera swinging slowly around the outdoor room
The hard stuff

Dusk to lit windows.

One camera, the sun swept down through dusk into night. The light moves; the geometry does not. Scroll to run the sun.

The shots

The shot list

Banksia House study at dusk: board-marked concrete, limestone and timber battens, lit from within

The dusk hero

The money shot: warm interior light, deep sky, made for the hoarding and the portal.

Townhouse study: row of four Melbourne townhouses, face brick and standing-seam, morning light through street trees

The streetscape

The whole row on the street: siting, landscaping, the neighbours where they matter.

Scheme 01

Same geometry, first colourway.

Banksia House facade range, scheme 2: white render and pale oak battens on identical geometry

Scheme 02

Same geometry, second colourway.

Banksia House facade range, scheme 3: charcoal brick and espresso battens on identical geometry

Scheme 03

Same geometry, third colourway.

The aerial

Siting, staging and outlook in one frame.

The fine grain

Where AI alone goes wrong

Same design, side by side: what a raw generative tool does to a real building under the microscope, and what leaves our pipeline instead.

The geometry check on raw generative output of the Banksia House: the roofline, cantilever, entry glazing and batten screen all in red where the model was lost or moved — 23% structural deviation, a fail

Raw AI output

The same design through a chat app, one pass, no correction: the roofline redrawn, the entry glazing moved, the banksia turned into a generic street tree. Red is what the check could not find. 23% of the model gone.

The geometry check on the finished Banksia House render: matched structure in grey, added foliage and texture in teal, almost no red — 1.7% structural deviation, a pass

Checked against the model

The same camera through our pipeline, measured against the same file: structure holding in grey, only foliage and texture added in teal. 1.7%, and it ships.

FAQ

Questions people often ask

What do you need from me?

For ideas and options, anything: elevations, a site plan and the colour schedule if the materials matter to the shot. For a marketing set, send a finished model or the renders you already have. If the model still needs building, it is generally best to update the model within the existing architectural pipeline.

Can you show the same design in different materials?

Yes. That is what Exploration is for: the same design run through material and colour directions, one grade across the spread, so the decision gets made off images instead of arguments.

Do you do aerials and site shots?

Yes. Siting, streetscape and outlook in one frame, for estates and multi-dwelling projects. An aerial is priced into the set like any other image.

Daylight or dusk?

Either, or both. Daylight reads honest and clear; dusk with lit windows sells. Lighting is set per shot at brief, and a mixed set keeps one grade across the campaign.

What about landscaping and the neighbours?

Site context is part of the shot: landscaping, driveways, fencing and neighbouring buildings where they matter. Context adds complexity, and complexity is itemised in the quote, straight.

What do finals come as?

High-res files with crops for portals, print, hoardings and social. Yours outright on final payment.
